Best Valentine Ideas

Here are the best Valentine posts that have
been on "Miss Kopy Kat" blog.

Click on the highlighted text above the picture to go to
the actual blog post to see more details.

The most viewed post for sure is the one that shows how to
make deco mesh wreaths.  It had a round wreath and a heart-
shaped wreath. This post was done before deco mesh was
readily available and was my first attempts at using deco mesh.

If you would like to see more deco mesh tutorials that I have done since this post,
click this link Deco Mesh Tutorials or the text on the navigation bar at the top of the page.

Another deco mesh wreath that was done a year later for
Valentine's Day is a lot bigger...

The most ambitious Valentine decor that I have done was
decorating the living room with vintage-looking papers.

Here is the mantle...
Vintage Valentine Mantle

This is a tutorial for one of the wreaths...

... lollies made from aged book pages and ribbons...

...and another vignette in the room also...

The dining room hutch that same year had a different look
than the living room using mostly Dollar Tree items...

A fun and inexpensive gift idea also from that year...

This last idea could be used any time of year for parties, weddings,
etc. but I used my Valentine roses to experiment more with
submerging flowers. It makes your flowers last a long time and
gives a dozen roses a lot of visual impact.

  1. whoa! i'm impressed...you've got some great Valentine's day ideas and here I am barely over Christmas!

I really like that soda can idea...might have to "kopy kat" that one!

I made a burlap Valentine banner a few years ago so I'll probably pull that out and mix in a few $$Tree things.

Great ideas and thanks for sharing.

  10. I've been exploring the great outdoors of New Zealand for years, and I wouldn't go camping without my trusty camp stretcher. It's a piece of gear that has never let me down. Whether I'm tramping through the mountains or camping along the pristine rivers, having a camp stretcher nz ensures a good night's sleep and keeps me away from the damp ground. It's a small investment that makes a world of difference in the comfort of your camping experience.
