Recently I have been experimenting with making clear
glass jars look vintage-y by applying glass paint to them.

I ended up with quite a few blue and green jars.
Twenty one of them are still out partying but the ones
still at home got some Spring flowers added to them today.
In the fields near my house Queen Anne's Lace and
other Spring flowers are growing wild.
My yard has a few flowers now...
gumpo azaleas and clematis.
I cut some of the flowers to put in the most recent jars that I had
painted to make a small outside tabletop display for photos.
A few more outside tabletop shots were played with over on
the "Pic Monkey" photo editing website:
So that I could enjoy the flowers more, I moved them
inside to the kitchen table and added more jars with flowers.
I love these.....gotta try it. Thanks for sharing.

ReplyDeleteHi Kitty, so nice to meet you. I am loving the fields of flowers. We have fields too and I love the queen ann's lace. Some years its a good crop and some years not. Hoping it's a good one this year. Your jars are fabulous!! :)
ReplyDeleteYou created a beautiufl display with your pretty blue jars. Flowers inside make me so happy. I need to do what you did and make a few bouquets to brighten things up.
ReplyDeleteThe flowers are beautiful but it is those blue jars that make them sing! Isn't spring the best? Being able to pick flowers from your own yard and the neighboring field is such a blessing!

ReplyDeleteHi Miss Kitty, Thank you so much for coming by my blog, leaving such a nice comment and following. I'm with you on how hard it is to get to the very last part of a project and finish it. I love these jars and what you've done with all those beautiful flowers. Wow, we don't have fields in South Florida so it's fun to see that. What an eye you have! I am your newest follower and I'll be back to see what you're up to again. PS: I love the tutorial!
ReplyDeleteHi Kitty,
ReplyDeleteWow, your pretty flowers look awesome in the jars you painted. I've got to try that. I love how you arranged them on the table inside. A great pic with the light behind them. Beautiful close-up pics outside. Great photography. You certainly are lucky to have a field of wildflowers close by. I love Queen Anne's Lace. My house would be full of wildflowers too. Beautiful post!
